Mission

The mission of the Consumer Directed Benefits Association is to become the nationally recognized authority on consumer-directed benefit plans with primary focus on dollar-based, freedom-of-choice dental plans. 

CDBA's objectives include:

  • To promote understanding and adoption of Direct Reimbursement and Direct Assignment dental plans through the publication of professional articles and studies, presentations to groups and plan sponsors, and educational outreach to plan advisors and distributors.   
  • To provide tools and support to employers and their advisors on the risk and administrative structure necessary to operate a successful consumer-directed plan.

  • To strengthen the bonds between provider organizations and plan sponsors through ongoing dialogue, shared research and mutual respect.

  • To create value for our membership through our collective expertise and willingness to share innovative tools, knowledge, and experience among colleagues.
